Amol Sahasrabudhe is a well-rounded individual with a diverse educational background and a passion for philanthropy. He earned his Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University in India. He obtained a Master of Science in computer science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Additionally, he holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from New York University's prestigious Stern School of Business.

 

Amol is a committed philanthropist who supports multiple organizations. One of the organizations he supports is the Women's Education Project, which aims to educate and empower young women from marginalized communities in India to pursue careers and become agents of change in society. Through this organization's Leadership Academies, women are given the tools to overcome social expectations and pressures and shape their lives.

 

Another organization that Amol supports is Pratham USA, which was founded in 1994 to address the cycle of poverty in Mumbai's poorest neighborhoods. This program provides remedial education to struggling students in primary schools and has developed an Annual Status of Education Report to promote education reform.

 

Amol also supports the Akshaya Patra Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Bengaluru that seeks to eliminate hunger in various populations in India. Their mid-day meal program nourishes children in classrooms and has grown to feed over 2 million children nationwide. They also provide meals to new and expecting mothers, children, and homeless women without families.

 

Outside of his philanthropic endeavors, Amol enjoys various hobbies and interests. He is involved in cricket as a player and team organizer and is part of the Masters USA team that competes in high-level over-50 cricket tournaments, including the cricket World Cup. He also forms a New Jersey team to participate in over 50 Master regional tournaments. Amol is a tennis fan, and his son plays the game. Additionally, he has a passion for singing and enjoys Bollywood songs.
